I also wanted to say love the grizz tricks nice big cut but both deer I shot this year were high lung shots I was thinking maybe stirrup rubbing caused this although both deer only went 20y and 40y and heard both crash so I cant really complain

max broadhead diameter
I bought slicktrick grizz tricks this year and noticed if I slide the bolt out the blades rub the sturrup is there a max cutting diameter for an excocet .if i rotate the bolt just so the blades barley clear the sturrup

Are you sure it's the string? When the bolt accelerates down the rail at trigger pull, the friction of the aluminum nock, or aluminum arrow, creates a burning smell from scraping along the rail. I notice the same smell coming from my aluminum arrows when I shoot them from my PSE Carera compound bow...

fff string
anyone notice a smell of sulfur after taking a shot with the ff string. I was practicing the other day in a blind after the shot I thought some one lit a match. took another shot same thing then I smelled the string sure enough it was my srting anyone else notice this?
