Re: Crossbow Magazine National Pop-Up Challenge

 That would be great, Bugs. I'm hoping we can get some excalibur shooters there so Excalibur is represented. We've already had one company sweeten the purse. They're going to pay an extra $700 if the shooters who win it are using their equipment.

Re: Got my Bear back from the taxidermist

NICE! Congratulations a good bear. Who did the work? What was the turn around time and what did it cost you? (If I'm being too nosey please pm me.) I'm from PA and taking my first spring archery bear hunt very soon. Hopefully, I'll be needing a taxidermist as well.

Nope. Not the Crossbow Magazine site but we have a lot of crossover members. I just wanted to make everyone aware instead of starting another thread. Sorry if I stepped on your toes.

Re: Turkey Contest?

We run one every year on Crossbow Magazine as well. Our rules are posted now. It's basically a photo contest where successful hunters post pictures of themselves, crossbow and turkey. Names are placed in a hat at the end of the contest and one lucky hunter is drawn. Previously we've given hundreds o...

Wow! Now that's a motley looking crew. I love the name tags. Looks like a great time. It's nice to see some of the positive things that the internet can do instead of always hearing about the bad. Good job Excalibur gang!

Re: PA bucks that made it through gun season

Nice one, PABOWDUDE60. He looks like a relatively young deer, too. He should only get bigger. We're having the mildest winter in northwestern PA that I can remember. Are you still hunting? I'm tagged out but hoping to get into Ohio for a few more hunts.

Re: Full Metal Jacket Bolts

The Crossbow Magazine crew is shooting them. Everything we kill on the show will be shot with the Easton FMJ's. They fly great but I opted back to the 100 grain heads with the Bohning Blazer vains, wraps and lumenoks. I don't know what the actual weight is but they are noticably heavier than Gold Ti...

Re: Crossbow Magazine to Canada

OK keep your fingers crossed. I put the last stack of magazine's headed for Canada in the mail today. Lets hope there isn't any problems this time around. If anyone still hasn't received their magazine in a week or two give me a shout. Incidentally, Excalibur shooter Ken Cull (aka uncle fester) will...

Re: Crossbow Magazine to Canada

I was told today by my postmaster that I can no longer send from the states to Canada until the mail strike is over. I have everyone's issues ready to go as soon as it's settled. If you did not receive your magazine because of the strike, let me know and I'll eat the cost and get another one sent ou...
