Re: Slick Trick Grizztrick Broadheads
I use the same arrow as Bob 1961 except I use 100 grain Slick Tricks. My broadheads hit right with my field points. My arrow weights 500 grains. They fly 215 fps out of my Equinox. My Hawk Map scope is dead on 20 through 60 yds. At 60 yds. , my fletching is touching and I don't have any flyers as lo...

I shoot the Equinox with 500 grain alumimun arrows and it shoots great.
I have no problems with serving and like Gerald says 10 minutes and you have a brand new serving. Had the 200 lb. and 225 . Sold the 200 kept the 225.

Re: Chrono speeds for my Vortex
The 500 grain arrow I shoot is very accurate and seems quieter to my ears than the carbons I used to shoot. Everybody has their own opinion.

broadheads. Total weight 500 grs. I've bent one arrow this year and that was with another arrow. Tenn.

Rescue One CDS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What do you think of the new Controlled Descent System full-body safety harness. Twenty five feet up hanging in mid air would be a bad place to learn they don't have all the bugs worked out. I hunt mostly...

I like sitting in my treestand with my tree mounted umbrella in a drizzling rain
and fog settling in taking catnaps with one eye open.

Re: tree stand help
Try the API Quik Stik from Bass Pro Shop. Aluminum light, easy set up quickly,
very easy to climb. Four sections 16 ft. or 5 sections 20 ft. strap on.
very safe, no monkey balanceing act. Double step for both feet at same height, not staggered steps.
