I was squarely in the "no quiver on my bow" category through my compound bow days and when I started with the new Phoenix. I hated the way the quiver through the balance off the bow and didn't like the extra weight. I've used several hip quivers through the years, and while none were perfe...

Put away the key? I like putting him in the bait bucket and letting the bears do the dirty work. 8)

FYI - I received my mount last week and love it. Very high quality and seems to improve the "pointability" of my Phoenix - not sure why, but I'm guessing it is due to adding some mass to the center of the bow. Definitely improved my groups though - and will sure be easier to carry into the...

Well, I used Isis setup and tried out the Sony camcorder on top of the scope this afternoon with two shots into my block target. Unfortunately, both shots caused the recorder to "skip" when the bow went off and I think it put too much shock on the camcorder for my comfort level. Not sure h...

bearhunter - I just used one screw with some blue loctite - holding fine for me. The holder is attached via a wood screw at the base of the pistol grip on the bottom of the stock. Hope that helps!

Isis - Very cool! So what brand/size scope ring did you use? Did you have to tap it to a different thread count to get the camera tripod threads to work with the screw? Any details are greatly appreciated. Nevermind on the second question - figured out how you did after reading the post and looking...

Congrats! Any deer on public land is a trophy in my book. Hunting public land with a lot of pressure makes you appreciate even the smallest amount of private land you can get. I have 40 acres of private land I hunt that I'd take any day over the hundreds I have in public land in the area.

Any updates on this? I was considering using this in Realtree Hardwoods on the new grounpounder quiver mount that is on its way. Comments on durability and ease of use are greatly appreciated.

Congrats on multiple once in a lifetime deer! They just don't grow them that big here in OK - at least not anywhere near where I hunt.
