handle

Just a thought-How about a gaget with a quick release so you dont have to leave it on the bow if you don't want to? Like maybe a presure clamp of some kind that would grab the forestock at whatever point you wanted to position it.

Handle

If it's on the forestock and running parallel along it's length,(like a drawer handle) I would't think it would get in the way-It would be well below the rail.

Handle for your Excalibur

I have mentioned this before,I think? Carrying a stand on your back and not being able to shoulder the bow through thick brush an twisted small trees is exhausting. The limbs in a horizontal position is a nightmare. I would like to see Excal. or someone come up with a reversible handle accessory to b...

noise

hey Guys, Thanks for the interest in my post!-No the noise has never bothered me.While hunting I never paid any mind to the sound. Things happen too fast to be concerned. Although, I have gotten comments from my non-xbow Matthews shooting friends ie: "man that's loud". I was just curious t...

Xbow noise source?

I set up a short range in my basement where the sound is amplified enough to hear clearly the noise generated from the shot. From my phoenix I get a loud crak or wack sound an also a short ring as though from a tuning fork. I took off the dp's and string silencers so I could hear the raw bow.The soun...

Speed of Sound

Sitting around with my morning coffee and day dreaming about the last hunt. I got a thougt!-If the speed of sound is apprx 1100 fps, what difference does it make on how loud or noisy your x bow is. The sound got to the deer about 4x faster than your arrow! So all the noise supression devices and sile...

sts

I have been doing alot of reading on the STS and something does't make sense. I constantly see posts regarding noise so it must bother alot of the members.Ex Cal doesn't seem too concerned as it is inherent to their product. So what is so good about the STS? If it were all that great I would think Ex...

cross bow case

Jim You don't have to go through all that trouble. Neet Archery co sells a good padded case that does just fit the ex cal and can be zippered all the way. It is model xc101-It does exist but a bit hard to find. I have my phoenix in it and it works fine.Look up Neet Aarchery co. on the internet for a...
