Re: What's the value? (Exocett 200)

I'm sure most of the longtime members here that wanted a Henegar stock have one. And honestly not a lot of newcomers like me here. But I have seen posts in all of the Excalibur Facebook groups where guys have a picture of an Excal with a nice laminate stock and lots of guys comment wondering how to...

Re: What's the value? (Exocett 200)

Great to see you on here again, I still have one of your quiver mounts. :-) As for your bow, while I'm still a huge fan of the Exo series bows I do have to admit their value on the market has dropped considerably. Last time I was in The Bow Shop (about 2 years ago) all the old Exo bows in their use...

You may come out with more $$ if you break it up. Sell stock separate etc. I think stock $250-$300. A complete Exocet in nice shape $400-$425 . My dos centavos
Thanks but I sold the original stock to a forum member shortly after I bought the Henegar stock. So not an option.

Re: What's the value? (Exocett 200)

Top dollar I would say $300.00. The Henegar stock alone is worth more than that. In my opinion, the Exocet is priceless, I own one and will never sell it. To answer the question of a fair price, since it's a classic. I would say at least $300 for the stock, and $400 for the rest. Unfortunately, the...

Do you still have the original stock? You'll probably get the most total by selling the stock seperately and then selling the bow with the original stock on it.
No I don't. I sold it to a forum member shortly after purchasing the Henegar stock.

What's the value? (Exocett 200)

Its' been a very long time since I've been on the forum. My fly fishing has taken over more than my hunting. I'm debating selling my Exocett 200 and I have no idea what it would be valued at and I know this would be the best place to ask. I do have a Mark Henegar custom laminated thumb hole stock on...

Re: O/T My fly fishing addiction

The weight is a little on the heavy side right at 11 ounces. There were several places where I could have shaved off more weight but more liked the look of what I had. Also when its on a 10 weight rod it is balanced out pretty well. I have cast it from sun up to sun down and have been fine with it. ...

O/T My fly fishing addiction

My fly fishing addiction continues! A great hobie to occupy so much more time than just the fishing aspect. I enjoy the fly tying, the rod building, and even the reel building. I have recently completed my third reel build. Each one getting a little more complicated than the prior. This one is built...

Re: Rage fail!!!

I see from the picture that the Rage head is not fully seated into the insert could that have played a role in its failure. plus could the blades have deployed but when the arrow pulled out in reverse the blades retrac back to a sort of closed position although offset. I know the head was tight to ...

Re: Rage fail!!!

Not a counterfeit.
I use to preach fixed broad heads forever until I finally got turned onto the rage. I have killed a good number of deer with the rage and this has been my first failure. I never had a problem with my fixed Montec's it's just that 2 inch cut with the rage was appealing.

Rage fail!!!

I was hunting this morning and had a small buck step out at 30 yards. Let a bolt fly with a Rage 2 blade 2 inch cut fly. Shot looked good. Deer was slightly quartering away. I could see the arrow didn't have a pass through but the fletchings were showing up right where I wanted them to. I felt comfo...
