Aim point question

My tree stand is approx. 15 feet up.
If I have a shot 10 - 20 yards out is my point of aim going to be higher, lower or no change?
This is my first time out of a stand and unfortunately have never had a chance to practice shooting from up there.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Lumizone

Hi guys, Well I'm all pumped up for my second full season as a crossbow hunter. As some of you may recall, my first year had some lousy experiences in the lost deer category that I just wasn't used to being a gun hunter all my life. I have purchased the Lumizone scope for my Exocet 200 but I have a ...

Great year.......Great Finale?

Hello all. Well it has been a very exciting first year of crossbow hunting for me. As some of you may remember (Grizz...thanks for the shot of encouragement) I lost a nice buck early in the season and beat myself up over it. Since then I have seen several more deer and passed on unsure shots. This f...

Great evening but........

What a beautiful evening to be in the woods. Squirrels everywhere, hawks, rabbits, turkeys too but.....no deer. I'm a little confused being a new hunter. The rut should be in full gear by now shouldn't it? If so why is it that my grunts, bleats and rattling have had no takers? There is plenty of dee...

WHO KNOWS?

Hey guys I know it's a longshot but......................... Is anyone out there in the Brampton, Caledon, Guelph area looking for a hunting partner or new member in their hunt group? I hunt alone and it's alright but can get boring or sometimes just a little trying. You never know till you ask right!

It's idiots like this that give a bad name to all hunters.
I hope they read this forum so that they can see what shitheads they are.
