I just booked a Moose Hunt in Ontario Canada. :D It is in section 12b -- not sure if that is close to anyone on the forum but will be driving right thru Thunder bay :) My question is -- for moose what broadhead would be the best to take down a moose?? Right now I shoot the Slick Tricks 100's -- will...

Currently I have the open sights on my Vortex!! The question is that I'm looking at possibly adding a scope on
In South Dakota the scope can not have any magnification-- so just a 1x I know that is it!!
Any thoughts on scopes would be much appreciated

What I have found is that the best way to never loose the blood trail :) :) is when they are close under your tree -- is to put your hunting knife in your teeth and when you jump on their back , this only works for those that use treestands, you must hold on tight and ride him or her to their restin...

This is my first year hunting with a crossbow.

Question is for those who hunt from a treestand, do you hang your crossbow like is done with a compound bow or do you find yourself always holding it like a rifle??

If you do hang it what do you use??
