Nice find. I work construction, often at considerable heights, and use someting similar with the same technology. The fast lock ability has saved me from falling several times. I slipped and would have tumbled if the lock hadn't grabbed. I never thought of using them in the woods. Great idea. Thanks...

Ska I would think (and take this for what it is worth) that you would add the 30 yrd number to all the others. Making 30 0 and moving all the other number to reflect this. This may not be correct. I hope one of the more experienced members will correct me if I'm wrong. I punched in some numbers and ...

Here is the paragraph to which I was referring. He is recommending 600gr+ upto 40 yards (which in my mind is the max for normal hunting distance) IF you can shoot 300 fps with them. The crossbow performance changes a lot depending on whether to use heavy or light arrows. With a heavy arrows noises a...

Question on arrow flight characteristics
Is there a calculator that can gragh the flight by changing variables? Being new to archery in general and crossbows specifically, I know little to nothing about arrow flight dynamics and how the variables effect each other. Just throwing out some numbers here, not suggesting that they are good or a...

In places like Michigan, PA and Texas most dealers are new to crossbows and really don't know what makes to stock, they all think the compound crossbows sell better so stock up on those. What we really need is help from you guys by asking the dealers why they don't carry Excalibur or why they only ...

If you are breathing during the shot, try doing some deep breaths prior to hoisting the bow, then let 1/2 the last one out and try to get the shot off before you need more air, if you can't, start over, lol. Awshucks...I wasn't clear. I was thinking more about movement during aquisition and hold wh...

Re: Cabela bad business practice
Today I called. I seems that Cabela now charges sales tax even on shipping and fondling! Hum. I've never seen any company do this. Why now? Has there been a change? This doesn't surprise me. But I wouldn't blame Cabela's. I don't know this for sure, but Jenny and her tax and spend lackies have been...

You appear to be employing a rather unique offhand hold style, you may want to try shortening up that hold. I once was off handing by putting my fore-finger around the end of the stock, but am getting better results w/ that hand just in front of trigger so my elbow is supported by my body. I got a ...
