I have had good success with 55 gallon 12 volt corn feeders throwing just corn in the am and pm and having a free choice protein feeder all year long nearby. I have hunted this property for years and once I started feeding protein free choice along with timed corn feeders I have kept and held more d...

flashlights are great and all, so is an old Coleman lantern or blood light (The Gerber Blood tracking light didn't work well for me). Once I have found my blood trail in the dark I mark it with illumitacks and I can easily see the line of travel of the animal as well as always know where the last bl...

Thanks for the advice Gary! I thought the system was pretty neat but probably would never use it anyway.

Bowbug worked great!

(FYI) I was hunting a ranch in Texas last year where a guy made a bad shot on a good deer using the bowbug deal. He came back to camp and put the receiver thing together and tracked the deer. It was kinda wierd but he did find his deer and said that he has had good success with it along with some fr...

I have tried many heaters and had good luck with the Colemans. I can't use the Mr. Heater or Heater Buddy because it makes to much noise.

And I thought I was impressed by the huge thud a giant buzzard made when I shot it as a kid. Either situation would be pretty intense!

Everyone should have these for marking blood trails!

I bought some small reusable LED tacks that are for marking blood trails a few months ago at a tradeshow. They are called illumitacks and they work awesome for marking your blood trail in low light or after dark. They also have a built in magnet so not only can you stick it into a tree but you can e...
