Re: GT II's Breakin
I had a GT II break. It was not a pass through. The break was clean. I will continue to use these arrows as I have 2 dozen and they are very accurate.

Re: hunting light advice
I use thin long LED lights with AAA or AAAA batteries. I fashion a cord and wear these flashlights around my neck under my shirt. When I need it I have it readily available. I also wear a compass the same way.

Re: Deer Hunting In Years
50 years for me. The first 19 years I spent walking in the woods and never got a deer. I then began hunting from blinds with bait and got my first deer the 20th year. Since then I get one or two a year. I am a meat hunter so many of my deer are does. I hunted with Bear a recurve using fiberglass arr...

I have an Ibex. With 436 gr arrows I get 290 fps. You should get 300 fps.

Re: inaccurate vortex!
I had the same problem on my Ibex. It was caused by the scope mount moving slightly up and down. I removed the scope mount (not the rings) and put some on clear packing tape to make the scope mount fit tighter. This solved the problem.

Re: 2012 Excalibur buck
That is very possible but it would mean that if the buck had not ducked the arrow would have passed well underneath him, which is unlikely due to the accuracy of the Ibex. Of course I could have made a bad shot. know something odd happened because the other 3 deer I shot were complete pass throughs ...

Re: 2012 Excalibur buck
That could very well be as I did not notice any damage on the far side. I found the broken arrow and broadhead when I reached up to cut the windpipe. I was lucky to not get cut.

Re: I can't get photo to post. Please help.
I am able to paste the IMG code and it will bring up the photo BUT I want the photo to be seen in my post without having to open it up. This time it worked.
