Druz maybe this is obvious but just make sure you test out those BH's at the distance you plan to shoot. Never assume they hit where your field points do. Always check at the farthest you plan on shooting.
Good luck

My favorite in order
1. FOC
2. Swhackers
Best is a personal thing kind of like what you have the most faith in.
Good luck

Re: New guy just had to pull the trigger.... Pardon the pun.
Congrats on your new bow. Easy way to have a proper Brace height is keep the string about. 1/4 to 1/2 inch off your bumpers/string stoppers.
Enjoy and good luck with it, and get a big buck this fall

Re: Say a prayer...
Thanks for the support guys. Or they may use it to feed their family. The kids may get a new "camping" tent. I know I've suffered losses in the past. Today it just hit me that perhaps I need to live the word rather than mouth the words. I'm not worried about it, that I need to seek vengea...

Re: ....just got my first pistol permit in Joisey (help!)
PS - Glocks are typically reliable, easy to operate and relatively cheap, which is why they are so popular with police departments. This leads people to the misconception they are the "best". IMO this couldn't be further from the truth. I myself totally agree with above statement. My Glock...

Re: ....just got my first pistol permit in Joisey (help!)
Just so people know. Here in Jersey a civilian (none police ) can't carry a sidearm. Specifically told that's only for retired cops not normal folk. Anthony here are my choices Glock 20 Dan Wesson 445 supermag FA 454 S&W 500 or 460 Ruger 480 or 357 Best of luck. But all seriousness aside. But H&...

Re: Hunting and Shot distance for Xbow vs Compound
Like others said it's a personal thing. I like FASTER bows for reduced time of flight and a flatter trajectory. I hunt a lot of thick areas and have limbs around so I lime a flat shooting arrow. When I shot vertical bows especially my favorite bow of all time the Darton Maverick I was comfortable up...

Re: No opening weekend for me
You will be rewarded many times over for this suprise. You both will never forget this day. Congrats on #30. Most don't get to 3 let alone 30. I just had 21 this month and am lucky to have her in My life.
I hope you both have a truly blessed day with many more anniversaries to come.

Re: What is your dream hunt?
This is a bow forum BUT you did ask! My TWO dream hunts would to be to take and elk and a bear (any bear, but a Grizz would be nice!) with my Custom 5 shot Ruger Bisley in 45 colt. Pistol worked over by Hamilton Bowen, new 5 shot cylinder, reworked the lock work, new 5 1/2" bbl and custom stoc...

Re: What is your dream hunt?
Mine is a combo hunt. Moose and Brown bear. But money gets in my way right now. Some day I will do it. But my biggest hurdle would be weapon. I am not only a passionate crossbow hunter but am a passionate pistol hunter to. Hmm. My 405 matrix or my scorpyd or my 445 supermag 41 GNR#2 or 41GNR. :?: Br...
