A guy I know has a Savage Smokeless Muzzle Loader and was sighting it in when the worst thing happend....It Blew Up. Mikej -- I'm not sure how much was hacked off, but I know from the trigger to the end of the stock is 11inches

I hope to get out this weekend and try out my xbow.

I got a dozen of his flamed bolts and they look awesome, But my xbow is still at my gunsmith's so I haven't had a chance to try them out yet. But I imagine they'll fly as good as they look.

YEAH, Like on the Howa Axiom, that would be a good idea.

I just wanted to say thanks for everyone's input, I will post pics of my xbow once I get it fixed up.

Sorry, I guess I should have mentioned, I have a disablilty in which my upper limbs are about half the length of a "normal" person's. I'm not too worried about the resale of my crossbow as all my rifles were cut down to fit me so I can shoulder them with no problems, but they all have wood...
