I think that sort of thing is ridiculous. The whole point of hunting is to spend time outside. You might as well shoot one from your back porch.

Gary,

That game feeder looks fairly simple and effective. Is it just a four-inch pipe and a bend?

I have two and have used them both to retreive deer several times. I live in hilly country too. That's not so much of a problem as when you get into the dirty stuff. I have found it is better to drag the deer out to the closest fields, trails, or open hardwoods and then put it in the game cart, rath...

I still wouldn't mind a separate area for 3D and target shooting discussions... That way it would be organized and easy to access. I don't think it costs anything and it might encourage different aspects of the sport.

I live in bear country too and I walk the woods every day in spring, ussually with a camera or a bag for collecting morels. Every one I've ever seen has been running away from me, once they figure out what I am. I'm sure a lot more just stood still and let me walk by. They generally want no trouble ...

Thanks Jim. Interesting and helpful. I use a Vixen with factory peep sights. How accurate can I get with these before it starts to become a losing battle?. The front blade is kind of big and even at twenty yards begins to covers the targets I use -- small circular pieces of cardboard, 4 inches in di...

Hi-5 said: If I could keep a pledge, it would be that I would lose 20 pounds, never stare at a pretty woman, drive within the speed limit, get to work earlier each day, and most important, exercise more frequently.

I'm keeping that one too.....

Hey Country,

I agree. For the most part, we're just restating how this forum works anyhow. And as for the benefits of talking to us Canucks, it works both ways buddy. I think we're all just bonded by this great common interest.
