I have shot a crossbow and are FULLY aware of it's capabilities!

If you are such a dedicated crossbow hunter, why do you put it away when the firarms season opens?

I love bowhunting and I use my compound and recurve all HUNTING seasons. Archery, rifle and lateseason!

It shouldn't matter! Those folks will still get to use their crossbows for 5 weeks even if Weaner's proposal passes.(2 week archery, 2 week rifle and 1 week of early muzzleloader antlerless). Beats the heck out of what they have now! I have heard some say that if they would have known it would be on...

THey just put out a press release to notify everyone of the changes after the digest in printed. As for alot...

WHy not? Archers have had to share the woods for years with small game hunters, turkey hunters, early muzzleloader hunters and jr/Sr rifle hunters during the 6 week archery season in PA. I have no problem with that- at times I am actually that small game hunter, turkey hunter or muzzleloader hunter....

Survey: Number of bears on rise Herald staff and wire report Bobby Koger was deer hunting on a Kentucky hillside when a black bear gave him the fright of his life. A 300-pound animal, apparently unhappy that an intruder was on his turf, came charging and didn't stop until Koger raised his .50 calibe...

There was a good article(think I posted a link a few weeks ago on Grizz's bear thread) about how much the bear range and population is increasing in the eastern US. Even surprised me! We saw our first one of the season yesterday while watching tv. Looked out the front window and saw black moving dow...
