Take care...

Is there a "best" serving material to use? Is ther an optimum serving strand diameter? I've got a spool of FF serving which I've been pleased with on both trad and compound bows, would FF be good for crossbow serving?

Thanks...

Hi, I use it but not by itself. I make a cover scent of approximately 1/2 doe urine, 1/2 raccoon urine and a splash of vanilla extract. I've had deer come in and bust me, deer come in alert, deer come in relaxed and asking me to shoot them. Who knows if it really works or not? Maybe its more of a pl...

Welcome to the Excalibur Forum! Best of luck with your new crossbow. New to this forum myself, maybe a month or so, and now thanks to the folks here I'm an expert concerning crossbows. :) I joke but it is partly true as I've learned a bunch of stuff by reading and posting here on the forum. Recently...

What approximately is the string and serving shot life with and without waxing - standard factory string? After about how many shots should the string be turned over to use the other side of the serving? Couldn't there be a Teflon type coating for the rail and a Teflon type shrink tubing over the se...

New to crossbows so only 2. :(

OK, so why do some of you guys have so many? Trying for that extra fps and/or reduction in noise? Surely to the game it does not matter how good lookling the string that propels the arrow that kills them. :)

Best of luck with your new Excalibur model. Do you have buyers remorse concerning the anniveresry model you have? Personally I've little use for "wall hangers", if I'm not using it (guns, tools, bows, pretty much whatever) it is sold or sometimes even given away to someone that will put it...

Very handsome looking stock! I get the impression that the stock is an after market stock that some fellow Mark was making, is that correct? What are the pros and cons of a wooden laminate stock over what comes standard on today's Excalibur crossbows, either for Excalibur or the owner/shooter? Thank...

That was a funny post. :) Happy to read that version 2 is working better for you. :) My week old Exocet now has its 2nd string on, the one from the Right Stuff package. The one from the bow package appears now to be fully stretched and has been set aside for now. I've measured and marked where the f...

Seven to One

:D :D :D Yes, outnumbered seven to one but my Exocet held its own… About a dozen of us were out at the club grounds early this morning to set targets for tomorrows 3D shoot (Algonquin Archers, Woodbury, CT). With all but the spam work done I broke out my Exocet and my portable shooting bench and set...

Hope this helps a little, on another post I wrote...

"I got the Vari-Zone and have tested it at last shooting light. Pointed into the darkening woods you'd probably benifit from the Lumi, but pointed out into an open/lighter area the Vari-Zone is more than adequate."
