Re: Awshucks is No More

I am so sorry to hear this news. I haven't been on the forum in a long time but Monica filled me in on this one. I had the pleasure of meeting Awshuks at Boofest. My thoughts to the family and to the many close to him.

Aug-Nov was really busy at work moving offices and then to a new company which meant re-papering all client accounts. I put in a lot of extra hours. I ...

Re: One extremely lucky 73 year old DUMMY!!!

Glad you are safe and learned something at 73! I had a cousin before my time die from falling from a tree stand and know of another who was in a wheelchair from it. Not worth the risk.

Re: dont make me resort to roadkill

I am not too proud for some good road kill but I will admit I do crave hotdogs about 3 times a year. I heard my Moms neighbour made venisons hot dogs 2 yrs ago and she said they were great.

Re: Sad story

What does it matter what the victim was doing. The shooter, I won't use the term hunter, in this case was shooting from a road lined with houses onto property he didn't have permission to hunt on. Could have just as easily been the land owner or a person out for a walk that was killed. I didnt say ...

Re: Sad story

A sad story but both parties broke a law here, one was not able to clearly identify his target and the other was bow hunting during gun season yet that is not mentioned in the media.
