Re: Crossbow differences

In the end, do not look for reasons, just buy the bows ;-) There is always a good reason to pick one up ;-)   Vormax, I love your avatar and your reasoning! Thanks Boo !!!!! I feel honored :D It was actually you who showed me how to re-serve. As far as I can remember I found your in...

Re: Crossbow differences

My Equinox has been a great source of enjoyment for the past couple of months and I am considering a second Excalibur. I use a crank to cock my bow, so cocking fatigue is not an issue. Are there any other advantages to getting one of the models with a 175 or 200 pound bow? I would like opinions fro...

Re: whats that smell?

Smells good no doubt :D But does it also mean more rail wear and tear ? Nah. If you look close at your rail you will see there is one side that is wore more than the other (just the anodizing), it shows as a silver finish up one side of the groove. That is the limbs showing a minor imbalance, one i...

Re: Excellent Customer Service

I was relatively new to crossbows when one of the Exomax limbs started to develop a little splinter. Contacted Excalibur and ended up with new limbs on the bow free of charge. Today I know the splinter was absolutely nothing to worry about. It is great to know that they take service serious and care...

Re: Outdoor card price and renew!!

Maybe they are trying to finance the green energy act with hunting fees :D

Re: Heads Up Canadian Firearms Owners!!

There is no crying in hunting. It is the firearm owners own fault if the "dark forces" are successful. At least you do not have to use your guns anymore to fight for your right to live the way you want to live. We should invest some time and brain in paper, pen, phone and mail.........and ...

Re: Guns- Why no one invades Switzerland-Good video

DIRECT democracy They also managed to get rich .... BUT : Instead of tinkering around with guns they should have paid a little bit more attention to their offshore banking activities. ;-) The invasion took already place, no guns needed. Next is Switzerland being forced into the EU and latest by then...

Re: Coyote hunters, I need some help.

Not that I like the WellTimes ( http://wellingtontimes.ca/?p=657 ) , but PEC (WMU70) seems to have a c-issue as well. No deer seen on the property last year and the property was full of deer in the years before. Lots of coyote tracks and only a few deer tracks. That's it. Seems like the coyotes are ...

Started with a Crissbow MKIII, switched to a Horton 150lb (CB019) and finally got stuck with Excal's when I 1st shot a Paradox. Today, it's mainly Exomax for target shooting and a Phoenix for food. Would be happy if Excal would build something with wheels, also understand that there's no need. To me...

Just put on my 1st serving on a #1994 string a couple of weeks ago and it's still good. Using Boo's great 'how to' on huntingnet it was easy and actually fun to do. Didn"t want to buy string after string any more. It's amazing, but this serving is still as good as new even after approx. 200 sho...

Started with a Vortex, then an Exomax, then a Phoenix. Today I know, the Vortex was absolutely the right choice for me. But in the end I enjoy shooting all of them. Target shooting , let's say 100 yards : big stuff >200 lbs - get ready to replace serving quite often, just heavier on parts (limbs, tr...
