Re: goodbye Exomax 225, hello Matrix 380!
I will probably trade my 2010 Ibex, which I thought I would never sell, for a new Matrix 355 next year. The extra speed and narrower width are 2 features that interest me the most. Too late in the year to do it now, but wish I would've done it in August, I also want to see what new products Excal in...

Re: Swacker Broadheads
I shot an 8 point with a Swacker that made the same hard right and exited in the armpit too. Weird

Mattice Lake Outfitters
Buddy and I are looking to do a Bull moose hunt next year in Ontario (we are Michigan residents). I have heard really good things about Mattice Lake. Has anyone hunted with them?

Re: Swacker Broadheads
I was 7 for 7 on deer using slick tricks out of my Ibex bow and decided to try Swackers because of all the positive things said about them on this site. Although they do fly straight and have repeatable accuracy I wasn't impressed with the penetration and lost a nice buck in Ohio last year because o...

Re: Most accurate Excalibur?
Although I don't own one, my bet would be a Vixen 2. No real reason other than its so compact and comfortable.
I own an Ibex and it's no slouch in the accuracy department

I won't use anything but fixed. Slick Tricks have never let me down and fly good out of my Ibex

+1 for the Schnees Extreme's. It's all I use up here in Michigan and my feet don't get cold.

I installed a Burris Fast Fire II on my Ibex. Dropped a ton of weight off the bow.

Re: red dot- scope or sight??
I am going to try a Burris Fastfire II scope next year. Small, lightweight (2 oz) and 4 MOA dot. I think if I dial it in for 25 yards, I will be good to go for all the ranges that I shoot.
Im using a Lumizone now.

Re: Phoenix broadhead/arrow combo??
Shoot GT's with brass inserts and 100 grain Slick Trick Mags.
arrow should be in the 405 grain weight all up.
Thank me later.

Re: Swhacker ??
There is a reason they have a KE minimum on the package. Like I said, they fly great, same hole as my field point, but you need the arrow speed and weight to make them work.
good luck
