Haven't looked at the web links provided, by if its not been noted, New Brunswick has crossbow hunting now. Last fall was the first year for all species in all seasons save the whitetail deer bow season. Spring bear hunters can now utilize a crossbow in NB this year as well.

We are in the midst of planning one right now Raymond. Its going to be the first Annual Archery Field Day, for NS. If you have any ideas, go to our forum and submit them. We are aiming for the second or third week of August. The event will be held in Truro. Our hope is to have lots of hands on stuff...

Went on another Moose hunting adventure a few weeks ago. Newfoundland is truly a wonderful place to hunt. Had a great trip, managed a 14 pt bull. My 3 hunting buds also managed nice animals. Two 8pts and a 6 pt for Randy, on his first ever moose hunt. Up high on a mountain overlooking a river valley...

We had a little BBQ Fundraiser for our provincial crossbow association on the weekend. Windy but fun! Overall, the BBQ was a huge sucess. PEI is all about Lobsters and Beaches! Gotta love it! http://i476.photobucket.com/albums/rr128/Ian75/IMG_9655.jpg I have a Canon Rebel XS for most pictures, with a couple telephoto lens kits. I drag around a compact Kodak Z612 while out hunting. Fits snug in the back pack and has a pretty good zoom....

Bear hunters can, for the very first time in Nova Scotia's hunting history, utilize their crossbow if they so choose.... Bear season runs from September 13, until December 04, 2010. No Sundays. We (NS Crossbow Association) made a certificate to recognize this special season.... Our first recipiant.....
