Re: Brace Height Marks on the Equinox?
Thanks Dutch. I will check it out in a little while. The Excalibur Flemish string I have does say to adjust the string to 1" after it stretches out.

Brace Height Marks on the Equinox?
Hello, I still consider myself a newer Xbow user. I have shot mine for over a year now with one deer kill under my belt but still confused about the brace height. I have searched extensively on this forum and others. I do not see any marks on my Equinox to indicate the suggested min/max marks. I kno...

Okay, back from my morning hunt. I saw tons of deer heading out. ONce in my area, I walked a fire break and saw lots of tracks but no deer. As soon as I got back to my truck, I saw a ton of deer on the side of the road laughing at me. No, really they were laughing. Thats okay, cause I told them I wo...

How should I hunt tomorrow?
So I am hunting on Marine Corps Base tomorrow. I got a section of land that is suppose to be fairly successful. Deer are everywhere around here. Anyway, I have a soccer game at 1000 I coach. I was thinking I would go out at 30 minutes befoe sunrise and just walk the grounds until about 0830 when I h...

Cases and Slings ?
Does anyone use a sling? I have the excalibur one but wondering if I will even utilize it. Also, I have the padded Excalibur case. Does anyone actually carry it out to the tree stand with them or leave in the truck/vehicle/ATV. I know it double as a seat. Anyone use it that way? Thanks.

Woohooo, Gettin' Closer...New Tree Stand
Wifey and I went to ole Gandermountain yesterday to shelf check. Bought my first tree climber stand. It is a cheapy but is light and easy to use. Read all the safety stuff and wife went over all the instructions with me (that way she feels involved). Getting closer to hunting with the Equinox. Heade...

What insert for firebolt bolts?
I lost a field tip and insert from one of my firebolt bolts tonight inside the target block. What insert do I use? I have looked and they don't really reference a size or bolt type. Is it a standard insert. Thanks.

550 cord okay for cocker rope?
Not sure what happened tonight but I had a dry fire and busted cocker rope. I fixed the cocker with 550 cord which seems okay but has some stretching but worked. Anyone else use 550 cord? Saw someone referring to paracord which I think is the same thing. Also, what should I look for concerning a dry...

New Equinox is Awesome
So I am a newbie that has been waiting impatiently for my new Equinox. Today UPS drops it on the porch while I am home for lunch. I was surprised to find that the bow was strung and stirrup attached already. Piece of cake assembling the quiver and attaching the bow. Borrowed the neighbors target blo...

Goldtip Lazer II Nock Question
Still new to the Xbow. In fact still waiting for my Equinox to arrive next week. Anticipation is killing me. I did get a dozen Goldtip Lazer II bolts. THe flat nock that comes with the bolt has a threaded butt end. What is that for? Also, did I read correctly that the front insert is 110g. So if my ...
