Re: 40 yards, free hand!
Well looks like you shoot better freehanded than i do off my table True that! I shoot .22 rimfire comp, and there are plenty of great shooters that cannot shoot a 1" group offhand at 50 yards with their Annie's! Did you know the lock-time on a .22 rimfire is much much shorter than a crossbow?

Re: Micro limb/finish issue
I'm not as sure as other posters that these are only cosmetic. Are folks actually seeing what the OP is pointing out? I too have the same voids in my own limbs, but the voids run parallel with the limbs, not perpendicular. If you look at the first picture, at the center of the pic, there is a small ...

Re: Mecanical Broadheads (FOC's) Suck!
The OP said that he heard a loud "kawhack" when the arrow hit the deer. This "kawhack" is typical of this type of broadhead WHEN it deploys. The "Kawhack" you hear are the blades slamming open onto the back of the ferrule. You don't hear a "kawhack" from a fie...

Re: Matrix Bows
Question: If many, if not most, ignorant dealers place their Matrix bows on the display rack with an incorrect brace, and then they tell you, "That's the way they come from the factory" why then doesn't Excalibur do what seems obvious? - shorten their strings so that ignorant dealers can a...

Double dipped in the stupid-pond, and then fell out of the idiot-tree and hit every branch before meeting the ground. Don is right, she's a Citiot whose...

Re: Crossbow speed question
Would Excalibur send a specific limb-set? In other words, if I requested their stiffest set of limbs on their 9-scale categories, would they do it?

Trigger Question
Inside the Excal trigger assembly is a small green plastic/teflon square, which I guess is there as a kind of bumper for the claw assembly to slam into when the claw releases. Is this small green square supposed to be free-floating, or should it be glued to the trigger housing wall? The reason I ask...

Re: Leupold VX-1 heavy duplex shotgun/muzzleloader scope
Thank you everyone. I will take a look at this scope. I have just found in the past that when a scope is parallax adjusted at 100 yards, the crosshairs can move quite a bit with respect to the target if your eye alignment shifts. So much so, that point of aim can vary by as much as an inch if you al...
