Have not tried that yet. Frankly, I don't think I should have to. If I do, then that means several things to me. First, the bolt manufacturers tolerances are way out. Perhaps they are. But, and don't take this the wrong way, its not directed at you...But, I have yet to see a post on here that says &...

Bummed

I'm shooting a Vortex. I was shooting the Excal 150gr. Boltcutters with the CF Firebolts from the Right Stuff Pckg. But I can't say that I have had success with them. Three deer shot at so far this season, no recoveries. The last one was a doe at 31yds. Blood trailed for over 200yds., then no more b...

Unfortunately, its coming here to MD tomorrow. I decided to stay home today b/c the geniuses at TWC said 40mph wind gusts with blowing rain. Well not here...thanks TWC. Tomorrow they are saying up to an inch of rain.

I joined 2 or 3 months ago. Just bought a Vortex and have learned a lot by just reading. I wanted my first post to be of my first arrowed deer, but that hasn't happened yet...:) My personal view is that the antis will be here regardless of whether the forum is members only or not. They don't have to...

What Planter said...: (

Sad to say I have to agree with planter. I won't go into my sad story of another scumbag hunter that deliberately shot my Brittany pup, through the chest, just like a deer with a deer rifle.
I had to realize, sadly and very much so, there are some real scumbags out there that call themselves hunters.

Leupold RX600

I bought a Leupold RX600. It doesn't have the angle trajectory fancy stuff but it works fine. It will not work through screens on a blind. And as I had to find out the hard way, niether will a crossbow bolt... It will range the target block at 10yds, 20yds, etc., and it will do a continuous ra...

Philzleads, crazyfarmer has done a lot of research as of late regarding harnesses and I expect he will post in this thread with his views.

Regardless of the type of harness you choose, you must hook up that harness to the tree before you ascend even one foot!!
Thanks Mike !

New to the forum and the Xbow world. Took delivery on a new Vortex I have been eyeing for a while. On the issue of total bolt weight with broadhead....I purchased the Right Stuff Scope Pckg so I have the 150grain boltcutters with the CF shafts. Went to BassProShops the other day to look at broadhead...
