I carve wooden decoys and can dull a knife in a hurry. To keep my blades razor sharp I sharpen with a diamond hone then strop. My strop looks like a paint stirrer with leather on both sides(one side coarse one fine). I can pass on the diamond honing if I stropp more often. To stropp I soak both sides...

I have the sts on my vortex and still shoot the stock string, with the verizone scope. Just added the groundpounder quiver mount and its the cats A$$! Plan on getting a Boo string and maybe some of crayfarmer's bolts when the string wears out and I save some money for the bolts. Hope this helps, Cri...

Thanks for the info, I dont need all the bells and whistles on a r-finder but if it will do double duty for cbow or rifle all the better. You guys gave me some good pointers, now i need to do some homework and find a good deal! Thanks, Crispy

Rangefinders

Kinda in the market for a rangefinder,I never used one. How inportant is the angle feature on some? Does anybody use one? Not looking to break the bank but dont want a junker either. Is the bushnell(Chuck Adams edition) any good? Nikon(Archers Choice)? Any suggestions? Thanks for any info, Crispy

Welcome to the forum! Iam fairly new to cbows also. I first tried thunderhead 100's, they grooped ok but not very close to my field tips. Switched to wasp boss 100's and they seem to have the same poi. Keep your serving waxed and good luck.
