way to go!!. makin smoke with real blk powder is special. I have 2 rock locks and and 1 percusion. wouldn't hunt any with any other type of gun.

that is just a general rule of thumb. a more accurate way is to determine kinetic energy for your set up. for example a 400grn arrow at 250 ft per second produces 55.53 ft.pounds of energy which is more than adequate for most game. the set up you mentioned 450grn arrow at 240fps = 57.57ftpds. by the...

while on stand the other day I witnessed and anti hunter carrying a sign fall into the river and go out of sight. I imediately notifyed emergency services. after waiting by the river for a almost 24 hrs they still hadn't showed up. guess my letter hasn't got there yet

Gary, the shot was at 19yds, was using the type of head that impeads penetration. the fletch was inside the bird with the rest of the arrow sticking out.

well, 1 was pinned to the ground but got loose before I got to it and flew off, and the second one the arrow fell out just as it took flight. will take a look at the heads mentioned above. let's face it, I suck when it comes to turkey with a bow
