muzzle loader hunting is kinda like bow hunting. you don't rush the shot because you (usually) only get one good shot . but you can reach out and touch em. i use a 45 cal 200 gr. shockwave with 100 gr. of triple 7, there is very little recoil compared to the 12 gauge shotgun i use to use.

Head up for the buck pole.

I shot my buck with a rage 3 blade 100 gr. it flew true and hole was impressive. But yesterday another Buddy gave me a slick trick 100 gr. to try shot it at 20 yds dead on! usually poi changes a bit from field tips the thunderheads did out of my compound and xbow , backed up to 30 yds. dead on again...
