Re: Feeding Corn
Has anyone ever used Black Oil Sunflower seeds?? I don't feed deer during the winter months, but come fall I like putting out a little corn in front of my cameras to see what comes by. A friend of mine uses Black Oil Sunflower seed and swears by them. You don't even notice them on the ground as much...

Uncocking with bolt still in..Part 2
Can't believe it!! A few years ago I got back to my vehicle and uncocked my Exomax with the bolt still in. I put a Mercedes Logo in the tip of my boot. Luckily I was able to recock the bow and pull the bolt out of my boot. The only hole was in my boot and not my toes. Last night I got back to the co...

Re: Ontario Elk Pics
My cottage is northeast of Kaladar(Ardoch) and I have a trail cam set up on my property. Last week I went up and downloaded around 20 pictures from the camera onto my daughters laptop. There were pictures of racoons, turkey, deer, bear, and what I thought was a horse!!! I knew it couldn't be a horse...

Re: lone wolf treestands
I have both the sit and climb, and the hang on that is used used with the climbing stix. I love my hang on because I don't have to be so picky about the tree I use and it's relatively comfortable. The stix attach easily and the unit is very quiet. I practiced putting everything back together in the ...

Re: Lone Wolf treestand ?
I have the Lone Wolf sit and climb stand and it's great. Very quiet and not that heavy. I also have the Lone Wolf stand with the climbing sticks. I use the climbing sticks more than the sit and climb because of the type of trees where I hunt. If you want to get really P##!ed off, then get all settle...

Re: Rattle bag v. rattling antlers
Whatever you use, make sure the deer can't get downwind of your position!!! Set up so there's an open field or a pond downwind of you otherwise you'll get busted every time. I've found that the big bucks use there nose before there eyes to see whats making all the racket. Good luck.
