Will an STS void the warranty?
I have read that the STS may damage the bow. Is this true? And does anyone know if it will void the warranty if you use one?

I have saved a few. Ive never sent one out to have it tanned. I have read that a deer has just enough brains to tan its own hide. You are supposed to make some kind of mash out of them. I havent tried it yet. I usually just stretch them, scrape then salt it and let it dry. Works fine for hanging but...

dlzinck Yes, Texas is pretty thick with hogs. My inlaws and I got a new deer lease this year and we have seen dozens already in the last 2 months. We have 800 acres mostly wooded and we have 4 hunters on it this year. We may try to get 2 more on next year but that will be about it. Where do you live...

I started hunting with a Bob Lee recurve about 10 years ago because the compound seemed too easy and the recurve just felt more natural. The problem is you have to practice ALOT with a recurve to be good and my back started giving me problems from practicing so much. I have missed the last 3 of the ...

Yeah, I only got to shoot it about a dozen times before it got dark. I will try it out again tomorrow evening. I will have to use 100 grain G5 Montec broadheads on it this weekend until my Boltcutters and 2219s come in. Do you think there will be much adjustment necessary? Also, GroundPounder, I pla...

New Exocet came today
Im pumped, my new crossbow came today! I wish they had included some string wax in the package, mine is at the deer lease. Hahaha. Are the firebolts supposed to have nocks are just treaded holes? Probably a dumb question, but I honestly dont know. Seems a little loud, but Im used to a recurve bow, I...

Ive hunted from ground blind, tripod, box blind, climber, hang on stand and ladder. The ladder is by far my favorite. You have a greater field of view. It took me a couple of times to get used to it too but now I would take it over any of the others. My Exocet comes tomorrow and I will get to hunt w...

Another Newbie Question
Is it possible to use say a 22" bolt instead of the traditional 20"? If so, what would be the difference in performance?
