Also, if you are stalking and have it slung on your back will the bolt fall out?

I just ordered a Exocet 200 online. I havent recieved it yet, but I have a question maybe someone could help me with. If you are hunting for 3 or 4 hours, do you leave your crossbow cocked the whole time and doesnt it wear the string out?
