Re: Broadside learns a lesson.

Got an update on all those gunshots. Apparently the neighbours' dogs were attacked by coyotes during the week. He had them chained outside, and they couldn't escape. Re: Broadside learns a lesson.

LOL!   20 years ago when I shot my first deer, I tried to drag it backwards. Even with snow on the ground, I realized my mistake after about 50 yards. Any clues as to what all the gunfire was about? Did you really hit a different deer than the one you aimed at? Still no idea about a...

Re: Broadside learns a lesson.

   Been there, done that . . .it suks. What was all the shooting about? Congrats on the doe! I still don't know what all the shooting was about. I called the property owner on Sunday, but he didn't have time to talk about it. It's possible that he was with the neighbours at the time.

Broadside learns a lesson.

We have gone hunting together many times, and over the years I have harvested one deer with a shotgun, one with a muzzleloader, and one with an Exocet. Two bucks and a doe. The following are the details of my very first i...

Wolves in Wisconsin

I realize this video is from 2007, but... http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/video/flv/generic.html?s=inwi10s22a3q81f According to this video, there are 1.5 million whitetail deer in Wisconsin. The hunters are complaining that the estimated 350 wolves are "decimating" the deer herd. H...

Has anyone here ever seen an all-white deer??

Re: Local Swan Beaten and Killed in Stratford Ontario

I guess an "erratic" moose is a legit public hazard, but too bad their attempts to tranquilize it failed.. and why were there no conservation officers available to assist?? And the school... "The school kept its students inside all morning, with the blinds closed on all windows facing...
