..We use hen decoys...as for calls..every gobbler will respond differently to calling. Every pocket in my vest has a different call in it. My all time favorite however is the old slate call. Sounds the most realistic to me...good luck to you.

..definitly bow hunting!...weather is usually warmer...deer are less spooked and pressured....and the rut falls at the end of it here in NJ...Deer get so pressured here during gun season and go nocturnal very quicky!

...a lot of folks out there shoot slick tricks, groups are tight and blood trails are above avg. I personally shoot the thunderhead 100 gr and 125 gr. Killed 5 this yr with them. Too Funny!...maybe get a couple of your buddies all liquored up and dare them to go out and wrestle with him.... :lol: ...i have no practical suggestions though to give you. A friend here in NJ has a feeder and whenever it went off, 3 bears would come runnning in (like a dinner bell)...it freaked hi...
