Re: Screw-in tree steps and me

I have been fighting with the screw in steps for long enough...and last year developed a pretty good system to install them. -Pre drill holes with cordless drill -start the screw in steps by hand and tighten as far as you can comfortably -use a rubber mallet hammer to help get the last "few&quo...

Lots of trail cam pics

I moved my trail camera 2 weeks ago...glad I did. Getting lots of pics...unfortunately bucks only coming out at night. This area is a little open marsh down in the hardwoods...the camera is only covering a small portion of the opening so I am feeling pretty good with this spot. I ended up with 80 pi...

Re: Installing STS

You can try cutting the rods a bit more...but you will need to cut those bumpers if you want the brace height to be within the lines. A sharp pair of scissors will cut those bumpers for you. Re: 150gr field tips/ scope cover

It is very easy to make your own scope cover...all you need is: -an old piece of camo clothe - free -thread and needle - should have laying around -some velcro...which can be purchased from a dollar store I used an old army camo shirt...just wrap it around your scope and then trace with a marker and...

Re: STS bumper and string placement

Gentlemen...thank you very much. I am off to cut the rods with the dremel. The set screw is advantageous since you can cut the rods a bit shorter and use the set screw to adjust the height...I believe this is what Boo said.

Much appreciate gents and thanks for the speedy replies.

STS bumper and string placement

Should the string be resting on the STS bumpers? My string was resting between the two alignment arrows before I put the STS bumpers on...now the string is resting on the bumpers. The string is now sitting at the top alignment arrow...and it rests on the bumper... Do the bumpers need to be cut or sh...

Wyvern Creations Packages

After using a friends crossbow and loving every minute of it I am finally getting my first crossbow. I ordered a Vortex from Wyvern Creations ( http://www.wyverncreations.com/ ) with their custom package. The offers they have are great. If I got everything in this package anywhere else it would have...
