Re: Fred Eichler Video
I counted coup on an opposum once. He was on my deck with his head in a bucket eating food scraps. All I could think of was it turning on me with those 52 teeth and tear my finger off or something. But still, it didn't compare to smaking that bear on the butt. That was pretty cool.

Re: Bolt Cutter Broad Head
I'm glad to hear the responses here. I currently use Thunderhead 125's and am 2 for 2 with them, with two pass throughs and about 40 to 50 yard recovery. I always felt the boltcutters looked a bit small myself and since I already had the Thunderheads I didn't bother to change. If I ever need to chan...

Re: post your pic---Members with Motorcycles
I have an '08 Suzuki V-Strom but two problems. I don't know how to post pics (yet) and I don't think I've ever taken a picture of my bike with or without me on it. It was 40 today and I actually got it out and road it around the block a few times to charge up the battery. Now I'll have to gets some...

Re: Christmas Exchange - what did you get
I had a lot of fun with this. Bucknbill, from down south a ways  hooked me up with some homemade scent free soap, a homemade bass lure, some pepper jelly, a very nice oven towel(hangs on the oven door like a skirt), and a homemade fleece winter cap. All appreciated. Relly cool stuff. I can't wa...

Re: The Phoenix does it's job!!
Nice job. I have two Phoenixes and love them. Both deer I shot were from within 20 yards and both were clear pass throughs.

Associate degree in Wildlife Mgmt. B.S. in Parks Administration. Teaching Certificate in Elementary. Masters' degree in Teaching. All pieced together over 12 years. If I would have gone straight through I could have had a couple of doctorate degrees I figure  Currently a 4th Grade teacher. Use...

Re: purchasing a cross bow for the first time
For the most part with any of the bows it just comes down to how far do you want to bury your arrow in the dirt on the other side . :) I'd second that. I've only shot 2 deer (out of 2 shots) with my Phoenix and both were "thru" shots. Last year I was just amazed that it went clean through...

Yeah, that could have gone either way. He's lucky the bear was just "curious" and not "hungry".

Bugs, I'm in for the first time. Email sent to you. Thanks for setting it up. Should be interesting and fun. I'm already thinking of some of the "local" products around town.

Re: I remember you
It would be interesting to compile a list of companies/organizations that have contributed time and money to fight crossbow inclusion. I think both the companies and groups need their names known. X2. I bow hunted years ago with a Martin. Stopped after children were born and I had no time. I starte...
