Re: Why did you buy an X-bow?

I'm a gun hunter, and I wanted to extend my hunting season.

Re: New Vortex

Thanks everyone. I just got it sighted in @20 yds. It's ready to go. I would go out this evening, but it is a little too windy for the deer to be out and about.

New Vortex

Just got a great deal on a new Vortex at Cabelas. I can't wait to get it sighted in and try to fill my freezer before the end of February.

Allen Haymaker Broadheads

Has anyone used Allen Haymaker Broadheads? I'm trying the 125 grain out. Picked them up at Wallyworld today.

Climbing Tree stand Recommendations

Can anyone recommend a quality climbing stand to use with my Excalibur? I'm 6'3" and weigh about 230, so I'm looking for something that I can fit comfortably in.

Thanks,

John

Opinions of Ameristep Bone Collector Blinds

I'm looking at which blind to get. I'm looking at the Bone Collector. Anybody own one, or give me any recommendations?

Thanks,

John

Anybody use Barronett ground blinds?

I was just wondering if anybody had ever used one of the blinds from Barronett? What about the durability and quality of the blinds? If anyone knows anything, I'd appreciate if you could tell me.

Re: Excalibur Ibex

I have an Ibex and I love it! I just got a doe with it a week and a half ago. I use a 20" firebolt. They are flat nocks. I use 150 gr. bolt cutters with it. It shoots great. You will love it.
