Excalibur Crossbow Forum

I like the 2117 seem to shoot as good as thing I have shot from my Vortex and since I have so many don't see any reason to change, my set up is a 20" 2117 with a 125 grain Thunderhead shoots great out to 50 yards.

Does anybody sell Them?

Has any one tried footing both ends of a smaller carbon shaft like a axis shaft to shot from there crossbow it seems you could pick up some speed with middle of shaft not touching rail

Any body mounted a red or green light on there crossbow for hog hunting at night? need some ideas shot 2 last weekend by moonlight a 10:30PM but a light mounted on bow would make it better.

I shoot a Vortex with 2117 bolts and 125 grain Thunderheads total weight is 445 grains I have not shot thru chrono but my Excalibur scope ring is set at 300 dont know how accurate the scope ring is but I do know its fast enough for me.

Its fast enough, I promise.

The Vortex will be worth the wait my wife bought me one for Christmas this year it amazes me each time I shoot it been shooting vertical bows for 32 years this is my first crossbow it is very accurate and very fast having fun shooting it every evening, Dont shoot at the same spot unless you like buy...
