Re: Wyvern String Question
Make sure you are twisting both ends  (kidding) I have had my Wyvern String on my Equinox for about 3 weeks now. I did get a slight amount of stretch. Nothing to where you are going to get 3/4 or a inch below the longest brace. I have a few twist in it where it isn't a worry. I think it stretch...

Re: Reserving string.
I'm not talking about the serving tool. I'm talking about the bow string on the threaded hooks.

Re: Reserving string.
How do you know how much tention to put on the hooks when you have a sting on them? I would guess enough that the string doesn't twist when serving?

Re: Opinion needed for LOW cost set up
I'm in the Philadelphia area. I think I may take him to Cabelas on sat and let him look at a few things there. I checked around for a used crossbow local but come up short. I think he is going with the Horton HD150 or the Barnett Jackal. They are around his price range after he gets license and a cp...

Opinion needed for LOW cost set up
My wifes cousin is interested in trying to hunt for his 1st time. He was wanting to get a rifle but I got him away from that idea. Since the area we live in is shotgun only and VERY limited places even for that.I got him hooked on the idea of archery hunting with a crossbow. He is on a VERY limited ...

Re: Flemish String Stretch
You are on a NEVER ending string stretching journey. I lost count at 30 or 40 twists. I replaced my FFF with a Pre-stretched String from Wyvern Creations. Has only stretched about a string thickness in over a week and alot of shooting.

Re: Rage opening in quiver
I'm running a small 3 arrow mechanical quiver from Tru-Glo now. The prob is, If it touches the sides of the hood it slips them open sometimes.. I think the broadheads could have alittle bit more resistance to opening.

Wheelie that's EXACTLY what I'm talking about. I slid mine down on that grove in the center of the head. Any disadvantage to doing this?

Rage opening in quiver
I have a new pack of 2 blade Rage that seem to open so easy that they open if you barely touch them. I have a mechanical quiver, they are fine in the quiver but removing them is another story. I did place a Rocket O-ring around the furrel and it seems to be holding them just that little bit before t...

Re: Trophy Ridge product and customer service very poor!
Bag targets are designed to stop field point ONLY. The older style Rockets did have some really thin bending blades. Thats why I never even bothered to practice or shoot them unless it was something I was looking to kill. I have several packs of 100gr Sidewinders that I will still end up blowing the...

Foxes Ruin The Day.
After spending the past 2 seasons in a deer harvest nitemare. I finally get a chance to squeeze off a shot with my new Equinox. The shot was far from a expected shot that I wanted take. Even after shooting I kept telling myself "man should of waited". I have always treestand hunted while a...

Re: Installing STS
I highly agree but remember what level of dollars you are talking here. After legal fees we would all have enough money to refletch a arrow or two. Since they prob dont have crap who is gonna bother with that case anyways? We all got hosed accept it. Once the Excal ones come out (if they do) Push fo...

Re: first kill with new bow
Congrates. No worry on size. The little ones are just harder targets. I'm still in the blind. If it wasn't for a Blackberry I would of been asleep LONG ago!
