I agree, I would like the older style myself. You my be able to find a new old stock bow, the part numbers are differant.

Give Dan Miller a call he will fix you right up. 740-483-2312. He makes the strings for Excalibur. I have never had a serving separate with his strings. I also shot an Equinox.

What range will your shots be? If shots will be more than 20ish yrds. you should have brass inserts & 2in. vanes to help with your f.o.c. Lighted nocks are heavy, & 2219's are not f.o.c. friendly.
