Yes it will work. The gap between the 40 & 50 yard marks is greater when shooting at 60 & 70 yards , just try it with a good rest.

If you get tired of putting flys on the water you can mail that rod to me , it looks nice.

Looks like Kansas passed crossbows in archery season today for 55 and older.

I am shooting 17" 2219s with a 50gr brass insert from my ibex with blazers & slicktricks 125gr and they will shoot 3" at 50 yards.

Kansas will accept a disability permit from other states will Missouri. I have plenty good spots to hunt near home but always fun to look at new country and Arkansas is near and open to crossbows.

I love my 2219s, alot of old ones around at sales cheap and they shoot very good from my ibex
