I have always carried my bow cocked and loaded as i often hunt in and out of my stand area, both my bows will sometimes come off safety when carried on a sling the safties are not bad and are working the way they should i wish they where made with a lock on them but sinces they are not i always but ...

I think you just needs some rain and cool weather to make you feel better i will send you some down from Kansas this week let me know if helps. I would miss your post as i am new to crossbow hunting and need a little help some times, and dish it out i can use it.

I shoot 17" 2219s from my ibex 150gr broadhead with blazers it will group 3" to 4" at 50 yards, Do not foreget to pull your arrow if you uncock my hand are it will go through your foot.

Yes you will have to cut the back end of the rubber off after you cut the rods the dacron is to add to your serving, i did not use mine and have no trouble without it.

I always carry cocked loaded except crossing a fence are creek are getting in a tree stand. I have found on all Excaliburs i owened the safety has a way of coming off when you carry it on a sling. I now but a rubber band around the pistol grip up over the safety when i carry it with a sling and remo...

Like i said i am not sure i can make it work the rope cocker is the best for me, but i will sure give it a try. See if you can get a better drawing on here for everyone to see. Back in the 60s there was a xbow that came with a cocking handle however it was a short bow. I have a gunshop/machine shop as a side job when i am not at my real job. I believe it can be done with a leverage point as in a elbow somewhere on it body some what like a chain tightener, i will give a try...

It could be nice if it worked 100% of the time, but unlike a rifle safety i always unload and let the string down by hand. I would never give that up as long as i am able.

There are some just west of town in the foothills, i lived there but it has been awhile. Call a local bow shop they should fill you in. There are more birds in the southern part of state.

Has anyone tryed to put heat shrink tubing on the arrow holder to cut down on vibration and noise, is there anything else that will work .
