Re: HHA Optimizer
Optimizer has arrived and would not fit on with the lumazone, bell to big. So I took it off and took a 1.5 x 5 leupold vx.111 off my rifle and mounted it with no problem. After putting on a pretty "big" cheekpiece, It is shooting great!! Now shooting crosshairs all the time!!! As Phil Robe...

Re: HHA Optimizer
I bought the optimizer and it is on it's way! I guess I will wait till it gets here to see if I need the extender. I bought the bow used so it is an older model. The main reason I bought the optimizer is that after 50 some years of shooting crosshairs, I sometimes even after ranging the distance, sh...

Question..Will a HHA optizimizer OL-SD fit on a Phoenix with a Lumizone? I was wondering if I will have to order the extension for this model.

Re: Many small vertical cracks in camo-dip finnish?
Passed the cotton ball test, I guess the cracks or splits are coming from the camo finish. I would post some pics but I have not progressed that far yet
Thanks all for the advice

Many small vertical cracks in camo-dip finnish?
I have found a few dozen small vertical cracks or splits on the left limb of my phoenix? They are all on the opposite side of the d-bars, I hope these are just in the camo-dip finish. Has anyone had this happen to their bows?

Re: X-act blades opening?
Thanks all for the reply's. I have to agree with you on the mechanical tradeoff, I am switching to the fixed blades. Now to decide which one. The slick tricks sound great and seem to have a pretty good following. And seeing that I am retired I have plenty of time to play around with them. I just lov...

X-act blades opening?
Has anyone ever had the X-Act mechanical fail to open on a deer? I got my 26th buck this year "8 pt". First with the phoenix XB and the broad head showed no sign of opening. The shot was a neck shot, deer facing me at 31 yds. arrow went dead center in middle of neck and lodged in the spine...

Another one for the Gortex MT50 from Cabelas, I've been using it for quite a few years and it is great. Waterproof, Quiet, and tough as nails.
