I just installed an STS on my Excal Ibex. My brace height is 1 1/8". The problem is that the rubber portion of the STS ITSELF will not fit between the mounting block of the STS and the bowstring. This is the rubber portion ONLY...I have removed the 3/8" alum. shaft from the rubber bumper. ...

I was/am disappointed with the trigger on my Ibex as well. It seems to have a lot of travel and 1-2 "sticking" points (for lack of a better term) within that travel. I HOPE it gets better with use.
