Re: I'm official!

My Phoenix arrived yesterday! I bought off ebay and admit that I was a little concerned buying a used xbow and had little to go on other than a few pics. I mailed the seller asking about the xbow and what all it included. From what I told by the seller it wasn't a totally complete phoenix lite stuff...

Re: Axiom

I initially thought this was the xbow I was going to get. I think its great, just didn't quite put together enough funds for it. Most places seem to be selling for around $550 though I've seen a few down closer to $500 now. If Excalibur could have gotten the price down to $500 to compete with the tr...

I'm official!

Ok, I will still call myself new to the boards, although this isn't my first post (I've been jawing with Rancid in his WI xbow threads for a bit now). But I will call myself an official member now because I just bought my first crossbow yesterday :D - online and still awaiting delivery unfortunately...

Re: WBH survey results

Not living or hunting in WI, I obviously don't know what kind of hunting opportunities exist for the various seasons (we'll stick with deer for the sake of easier arguments). Here in PA, the archery season is quite long, with some 'overpopulated' areas allowing doe to be taken as early as mid-Septem...

Re: WBH survey results

This whole subject is like that annoying turd that just keeps circling the toilet bowl, but refuses to go down. Rancid, this self-worship of the mighty WBH is rather nauseating. Roy Case gets much credit for bowhunting as you know it in WI and rightfully so I'd say. But to act like there would be no...

Re: Wisconsin Bowhunters association WBA

Interesting that the voting margin is considered 'pretty tight'. You realize that Obama won the 2008 presidential election by about the exact same margin the the press hailed it as a landslide victory, an American demand for change! This is not a political discourse on Obama. I didn't vote for the m...

Re: Wisconsin Bowhunters association WBA

I will qualify the start of this post as admitting that I do not live in WI nor do I own a crossbow. I think it is hypocritical for ANY sporting group to try to limit any safe, effective, ethical weapon from being used. The way the hunting numbers are drying up, we should be looking for all opportun...
