shooting from a tree stand
Although I have hunted with a vertical bow from the ground and a tree stand I'm still kinda new to the X-bow and have really only been on the ground with it. I was wondering If anyone had any input on point of aim from about 12' to 16' up, if I should expect a major difference lets say on a target t...

Just say'in Hi
I've been on the forum for a month or so now and have really had some good advice on my choice of bow, exocet 200, and some other subjects, just wanted to say thanks again. It's great to be a member. I saw where a few of you have introduced some of your handy work and I must say there is a lot of ta...

Re: Which Excalibur for N.C. whitetails ?
Welcome to the forum, I'm kinda new here too. I lived in NC for several years and now up in Ontario. I just got the exocet 200. You may want to consider that cause you might want to try a bear down there, a little heavier might be better. I got the exocet because I think it's a bit easier to get to ...

tree stand help
I have always hunted with a climbing stand but I'm getting tired of the up and down all the time and I think it just makes too much noise in the process. I'm thinking of just securing it to the tree and using the kind of tree steps that screw in but have had no experience with them. Any one out ther...

Re: Ground Blind Clothing
Everyone is right black everything inside the blind. I've got a dog house blind and last season I went as far as spray painting the limbs of my old exocet. When you look in from the outside you can't see a thing. Having said that I just bought a new exocet 200 and can't paint it, it's just too dog g...

a little help deciding
I'm close to putting down the cash but I'm on the fence between getting the equinox or vortex. My dealer is telling me that the vortex is showing a tad more accuracy. I'm 6'2" 210lbs so drawing is not an issue. I hunt deer and moose so I'm thinking, like most guys, bigger is better  . Has ...

bolt and broadhead help, help, help
Last season I was shooting an exocet, excalibur carbon fiber bolts and 100 gr. G-5 broadheads. Sorry I don't know the total weight of bolt and head. I shot a nice six point from 21yards I think I got a little too close to the shoulder but still had good blood. I trailed him for a little better then ...
