Re: Shooting tips

just make the shot.the best advice i ever got was this.don't over think about your accuracy because you will be pulling your head up.just like they say in golf keep your head down.weather it's practising or harvesting a deer once you commit to shooting just relax and do it.you'll be surpprised at th...

Re: Deer Attractants

to start you unfortunately can't use natural scent in ontario now.i've bow hunted for 5 seasons and would use a scent drag of doe in estrus to my stand's shooting lane.i would make a false scrape under a branch and hang the scent drag on the branch at a height where the deer could stretch to smell.i...

Re: Shooting sticks

i use a folding chair with a backrest only and no arm rests in my dog house blind.the camping chairs with arm rests were too restrictive for me.i have a single adjustable shooting stick i got at canadian tire with my ctc money.it works great in the dog house and sitting on the ground against a tree ...

Re: phoenix trigger problems

Peter from excalibur got back to me right away with an email and suggested wd40 in the safety and trigger area.worked like a charm.i didn't want to do this without someone in the know's approval.all that rain this month while hunting was probably the reason.thanks to all for input. KITCH

Re: spring gobbler hunting

I use mechanical spitfire 100 grain broad heads and 3" fletchings on gold tip laser 11 arrows. I also pratice with spitfire 100 grain practise tips on the arrows i use for hunting. I find these are very accurate in practice and hunting and their 1 1/2" cutting diameter 3 blade is very effe...

i use bahh when they're walking and it's always worked.i did have a buck come through once at 40 yards out in the trees on the trail of a doe that had come through a few minutes earlier.after he went by and was behind a couple of trees i gave a grunt call and he never changed his walk.testestorone i...
