Re: Texas Bird Down
Yes Sir Mr. Phil!!!!!! Congratulations on a fine Texas bird. I really hope that Dad gets one this week because Saturday is our last day. It sounds like your bird really put on a show for you. No pictures :? I'm going to have to buy you some batteries for Christmas. I would have loved to have had a p...

Close but no turkey
Dad and I went to the club saturday morning to see if he could get a turkey. We sat in one of our favorite spots and we both though that it was kind of weird that we didn't see or hear anything but when the sun came up we figured out the problem. Coke bottles and cigarrettes were all around our home...

The deer would have to be standing broadsided and not be farther than 20 yards away. I don't know if a 30 pound bow would kill a deer but I didn'...

Hey Saxman :D . I never did get back in touch with you after dad got out of the hospital last sunday because he said that he wanted to thank you for what you did. He was in there for a whole week and boy was he ready to come home. That sure was scary but we'll keep praying that he will get better. I...

Re: Simple Turkey Contest
Hello everyone :D . I killed a nice gobbler on the youth day. The hunt was over by 7:30 in the morning. Dad called him in with his mouth call and I killed him at about 8 yards with my Remington 870 Turkey gun. I killed him in the exact same spot where dad killed his big gobbler last year. It was a r...

Hey Mr. Paul! How is Texas? I can't wait to come back and hunt but with dad losing his job and his badback it may take a year or two but I know that he is doing the best that he can. Man we had us a time in Texas didn't we. We just didn't get to spend enough time visiting. Next time we'll have to ca...

New Member, well kind of.
Hey guys. My dad signed me up as a member two years ago but we have had some problems logging on but Mr. Peter got that fixed today. I wanted to add my turkey picture in the contest and even though it says that I am a new member starting today, Mr. Peter said that he would confirm that I have actual...
