Re: prayer request

UPDATE: Dad's procedure went well. He had 4 clogged arteries but only one of the four required a stent. The other three will be controlled with medication "Plavix". Our family really does appreciate all of the prayers. I'm sure that Dad will loggin when he get's home!!!!

Re: Buck of a lifetime!!!!

I was taught by a great mentor! All I had to do was listen and the bucks just started showing up. I just hate to see dad's back hurting so bad and slowing him down :( . Maybe they will come up with something to help him someday :D . Thanks for all the kind words guys.

We found and ton of rubs and scrapes so we decided to sit there for a while but after about 30 minutes, dad's back started hurting so D...

Re: Got my buck

Dad told me last night that he found someone local that does European mounts so he is going to take the head to him after it freezes. Congrats on the deer! :D But you can do a European mount yourself. It would be a good project for you. The easiest way (unless you have beetles to clean the skull) i...

Got my buck

I asked Dad to post the picture of the buck that I have been hunting since bow season. We were hunting a 1500 acre block of woods on our lease on Saturday. The wind was blowing about 30-35 mph and we were hunting with the hounds so hearing the dogs was hard. We were about to break for lunch when Dad...

Re: Nicknames

Dad gave me my nickname when I killed a buck that was 274 yards away with my 243. I was 10 years old when I shot that buck and will never forget that afternoon!

Mr. Bucko, thank you sooo much for the grunt tube. I know that you worked hard on it and I can't wait to see it. I also want to thank my dad for everything that he has done for me. This forum really is a great place.
