Re: CB brackets for an ATV?!?!
Is there a risk to the scope when mounting a CB or rifle to the front rack of an ATV?
One of my hunting buddies is adamant with never putting a scoped weapon on an atv.

Re: MAXIMUS CROSSBOWS.
My first hunting experience was last year. I shot a moose at 25 yards with a compound bow. Needless to say, I was hooked. However, the moose ran 200 meters into the woods before falling. As everyone in my group had an Equinox, I always felt that the recovery distance would have been way closer had I...

Re: How do I remove a front insert from an arrow?
Thanks again Vixenmaster, that worked perfectly!
I had to clamp on vice grips at a 90 degree angle and then step on them to use both hands to pull the arrow, but it worked.
Now I've marked the arrow so that I can recognize it in the field, I fear it may not fly accurately.

How do I remove a front insert from an arrow?
Hi Everyone, During my last down range practice, 3 of the front inserts of my firebolts flew out after going through the target. I went to my local dealer and bought some spare inserts and glue. When I got home I filed the inside of the arrow slightly, cleaned with alcohol and allowed it to dry. Wit...

What's the weight of the front insert?
The target stopped my arrows, yet the points and front inserts kept going and got lost in the woods and they need to be replaced.
Also, what time of glue do you use for the front inserts?
Thanks!

Don't do it. Just don't. I bought a Maximus Bone Splitter 225 at the beginning of March for $669.99, with accessories including scope and 4 arrows. For almost $300 less than the Excal Equinox, I thought I was ahead of the game. Boy was I ever wrong. I finally received the crossbow last week. It seem...
