Re: Here's a report on the OMP TipTamers

Hi OK...to add to the confusion somewhat: I had a discussion with the engineers this morning. The production department never bothered to put any real instructions on the packages so everyone is somewhat running blind here. What I am doing is adding the following instructions with any I sell startin...

Re: Wyverns

As a quick correction on a post above: I worded something wrong. I had a couple of issues with the factory string breaking off the limb tips due to stretch on 355's without the suppressor (brace height dropping too low). The loops were not too large, they were simply pulling at the wrong angle. I ha...

Re: Wyverns

"Also how much faster are these new strings going to be" We gained about 5fps on a 355 we were playing with in testing. Our major concern was not so much speed but eliminating the stretch and making it as durable as we could...JBK spent quite a bit of time trying different things for us ti...

Re: Wyverns

We only had the issue on a few 355's without the reds. The 380's have the reds so people noticed if the strings were stretching and made the adjustments. Dry fires are a whole different issue :)

Re: Wyverns

Our strings are being made for us by JBK Strings. This took some time and testing to get exactly what we wanted. They don't stretch like the factory string and pick up a few fps in the process. We had an issue with a few limb tips on the Matrix ripping off if the loops got too large so we are making...

Re: lumenok arrow ?????

Luminock uses Victory shafts so they are actually pretty good. Not all that impressed with the "wiggle out, slam in" method of actuation though...Ive seen crossbow arrows crack on the faster ones and every now and then they dont turn on but it is a definite option for people...

Re: Excaliburs New SS String Shock System

Since my link was listed here I just wanted anyone who is looking for them that I pulled it down from Ebay as I only have a few left and they are reserved for my website orders. I have a pile more coming in (as do other dealers I am sure :) ) so I will be re-posting on ebay once I get more in but if...

Re: Wyvern String Question

Hi All: We basicly designed the string length to achieve two things. One was to work off the shelf with the STS without having to twist the crap out of it and two to set the height on the high side to get the most poundage from the bow (drawing it back to the highest amount that Excal recomends.) Wh...
