Golfcat,
I've been shooting my 165lb Exocet since 1998 with 2117's (2216's weigh the same) and getting 287 ft/sec with 100 gr points.
That combo goes clean through deer, bear and moose and the best part,
I can draw that xbow while seated in my ladder stand....if/when a follow-up shot is required!

The luxeon LED's manufactured by Lumileds is the brightest LED technology available anywhere. They're using this LED technology to light up operating tables!!!! I bought a 3 watt Luxeon White LED flashlight (they're not cheap) and at it's lOW light setting is amazing for blood tracking in the dark. ...

Hi Wabi, No worries, you're not laying anything on me that I hadn't already taken into consideration. Traditions doesn't even build their guns....they're imports. I wanted to get into muzzle-loading but couldn't justify the price tag of a TC break-action....they're almost 3x the price and I didn't w...

Hi Wabi, I just got into muzzle-loading.....literally. I've been thinking about for a few years and then accidently learned about the break-opens with 209 primers. I bought my Traditions Pursuit LT last Wed, educated myself on loading, cleaning etc on Wed/Thursday/Friday evening and was printing 1&q...

This debate has gone on for as long as I can remember and I've been shooting and hunting with bows since the early 80's!!!!!! Back then xbows weren't as numerous nor as popular in the deer woods and mostly populated by the vertical bow hunter using traditional gear (recurve and cedar shafts).... sim...

Partikle, I did get mine at Le Barons, i'm happy with the camera and results....more importantly, i'm really impressed with Bushnell's customer service. I had a problem with the original unit i purchased and after a brief telephone conversation describing the problem, the good people at Bushnell had...

Hey Partikle, I'm using the Bushnell TrailScout....flash and all! I got some amazing pics of really nice Lanark County bucks over a 3 month period (Oct - Dec) At first, the flash was certainly spooking the deer.... and after a while they got used to the flash and many of the same bucks returned to g...

If the law is going to prosecute law abidding citizens because their guns get stolen, from gun safes and then used in blood crimes, then the law should prosecute those law abidding vehicle owners who's vehicles get stolen, from locked garages etc and used to commit crimes eg. drunk driving accidents...

Well, i certainly wouldn't take a shot at game out to that distance. Or even half that distance! Sounds like that dealer was confusing FITA equipment with hunting equipment. 90 meters is a common distance for FITA tournaments. Wouldn't it be interesting to see Excaliburs in FITA tournaments. Afteral...
