Re: matrix blew apart

I sincerely apologize for my earlier comments. We have regular trolls frequent this site with various BS stories and I've I misjudged your post. Wow that's an unusual site in the photo, Could be a bad batch of epoxy, human error, flaw in the limb tip cap material, hard to say. But excal will look af...

Re: Worms ! Mmmmm

The bush near the coast here is thick with them, especially in the blackboys/grasstrees here. Everytime you brush past one the buggers get on you, but luckily where I hunt, the inland dry bush they're not so common.

Re: matrix blew apart

For a few years now, I notice that all serious issues you hear of on this forum are sent in as someones first or second post. They never show their location or any details. Usually just some troll or another bow company spreading a bad thoughts. Easy for them to do, even when unsubstantiated ..........

Re: Considering a 405 be Honest With Yourself

I won't get caught up in the speed debate, I think get whatever you feel comfortable with. But for those older or injured fellas who may be struggling with the 380, try lengthening the cocking rope. Using the cocking rope excal provided, meant I was putting strain on my back at shocking angle to coc...

Re: Another tragic accident

Yeah, It's a shame that the majority of these accidents are caused by people ignoring simple safety etiquette. How bad would you feel taking a mate down, I wouldn't want to go there.

Re: Anyone buy a 380 and wish they had the 355? or the oppos

I mostly just wanted a smaller bow for hunting. I went for the 380, because although i didn't really want the extra speed than an equinox, I wanted to shoot heavier arrows without losing speed. The 380 gets a respectable 340FPS with a around a 500 grain arrow. Very accurate for longer distance shots.

Re: Worms ! Mmmmm

I've seen quite a few Roos here full of them , even before slashing the guts, the guts was moving in front of me, looked like hundreds of them when I slit it   :( This poor old Roo probably only got 10% of what he eats because the worms beat him to it. I think I done him a big favour th...

Re: Worms ! Mmmmm

Thanks for the feedback guys. Yeah just the thought of them puts me off. I know there's a number of different worms etc that can put meat at risk, but I suppose as long as you leave any obvious problem meat, and cook what meat you do eat well, you shouldn't have problems.

Re: Worms ! Mmmmm

I heard the same Mo, From what I understand cooking the meat well will knock off anything you may have missed in the meat. Worms make my skin crawl, and although I haven't come across tape worms in the actual meat, all the stories I've heard make me worry about getting worms or eggs in the meat.

Re: Worms ! Mmmmm

Yup in the south worms called Tape worms are in the intestines/guts. Doesn't hurt the meat jus a parasite. Unless thar be an open festered wound other worms such as screw worms are not found on them So as long as they're only in the guts and not the rest of the meat, there's nothing to worry about....

Re: Worms ! Mmmmm

Hi Dash! We don't have much worms here in B.C but the tics can be a problem. Hank Hi Mate, Ticks are a hassle when they get on you here, but as far as I know they don't carry lyme disease or anything like that luckily. Can tics do anything to ruin the meat there, or just a problem when they get on ...
